Staff Software Engineer

About the role

Join the AI Platform team to architect and deploy large-scale generative AI and machine learning solutions. You will provide technical leadership for the intelligence engine that powers our commercial operations software, influencing long-term product strategy and engineering standards.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade AI and GenAI systems.
• Lead projects from initial concept through deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Define technical direction and evaluate architectural tradeoffs.
• Mentor engineers to improve code quality and technical proficiency.
• Partner with product managers and data scientists to deliver integrated business solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, and Celery.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.
• Significant experience building and deploying AI/ML or GenAI applications.
• Familiarity with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Hands-on experience with model training, lifecycle management, and monitoring.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of ML algorithms, NLP, transformers, diffusion models, or generative models.
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in SQL or NoSQL databases including MongoDB, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GCP services like VertexAI, BigQuery, GKE, GCS, and DataFlow.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, or Scala.
• Contributions to open-source projects or the AI/ML community.
