Renewals Manager

About the role

The Renewals Manager oversees the full lifecycle of customer renewals for a designated portfolio across the Americas. This position balances sales and customer success functions to protect recurring revenue and drive growth through strategic negotiations and proactive account management.

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of renewal accounts, handling the entire process from initial outreach to contract signature.
• Initiate customer contact 90 to 180 days before expiration to evaluate health and address potential risks.
• Update renewal forecasts weekly using Salesforce and Clari.
• Prioritize accounts based on ARR at risk, health scores, and upcoming deadlines.
• Negotiate contract terms, including multi-year agreements, price escalations, and volume discounts.
• Coordinate with Legal, Deal Desk, and Finance to finalize non-standard terms.
• Develop mitigation plans for at-risk accounts alongside Sales and Customer Success teams.
• Identify and refer expansion or cross-sell opportunities to Account Executives.
• Maintain data accuracy in Salesforce and utilize CPQ and CLM tools for process consistency.

Requirements

• 3 to 6+ years of experience in SaaS renewals, account management, or customer success in a quota-carrying role.
• Proven history of managing a book of business with at least $5M in ARR.
• Ability to manage 100+ renewal accounts simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of renewal metrics including GRR, NRR, ARR, churn, and logo retention.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in pricing and contract structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for C-suite engagement.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and Clari.
