Associate Software Engineer at Conga.
About the role
Join the AI Platform team to build and maintain enterprise-grade AI and generative AI products. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle while gaining experience in modern engineering practices and cloud-based AI systems.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design, code, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Debug issues, perform root-cause analysis, and monitor service health.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering peers through design reviews and code feedback.
- Create technical documentation and training materials.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, and Celery.
- Familiarity with software design patterns, cloud technologies, and DevOps principles.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Understanding of automated testing methodologies.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, concurrency, and REST APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Terraform or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to SQL or NoSQL databases including MongoDB, MSSQL, or Postgres.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or GCP services like VertexAI, BigQuery, GKE, GCS, DataFlow, and Kubeflow.
- Experience with C#, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like PyMock or xUnit.
- Interest in MLOps and frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
