Join the Ambient team to shape the future of healthcare AI. This role involves developing and launching product features that directly impact clinicians and health systems. You will guide products from initial concept through deployment in exam rooms.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage product areas from start to finish, overseeing discovery, delivery, engineering alignment, quality assurance, and outcome tracking.
- Engage directly with healthcare providers in exam rooms to observe workflows, identify challenges, and incorporate their perspectives into product design.
- Innovate new Ambient AI workflows that transform clinical documentation and provider interactions, influencing the product roadmap for clinical automation.
- Cultivate relationships with health systems, understanding their integration needs and ensuring product compatibility with their operations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (OKRs) for your product areas, using data to prioritize and demonstrate impact.
- Translate complex technical and clinical information into clear directions for engineering, clinical, and business teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or healthcare technology.
- Strong foundational skills in product discovery, prioritization, roadmapping, and shipping products in a fast-paced setting.
- Technical understanding of APIs and integrations, enabling effective communication with engineers and comprehension of technical documentation.
- A structured approach to user research, including conducting studies, synthesizing findings, and converting insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for creating product requirement documents, updating stakeholders, and aligning diverse teams.
- Adaptability to uncertainty and enthusiasm for defining the scope of this role.
- Interest in the progression of AI, particularly in clinical and voice applications.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 or FHIR.
- Clinical background or experience collaborating with healthcare providers.
- Experience with consumer products, focusing on user satisfaction beyond enterprise requirements.
- Previous experience guiding other product managers or cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML or ambient voice products.
