About the role

Commure is building an AI operating system to transform healthcare administration and revenue cycle management. You will lead the RCM Core Backend team, overseeing the infrastructure that processes billions in claims and automates clinical workflows.

What you'll do

• Manage and mentor a team of 8 or more engineers.
• Oversee the technical delivery and scaling of backend systems and automation platforms.
• Partner with product and operations teams to align engineering output with business objectives.
• Prioritize project workflows and resource allocation to maintain high execution standards.
• Maintain system reliability and code quality while fostering a culture of technical ownership.
• Support career development and performance management for direct reports.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience in fast-paced, scaling environments.
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
• Experience managing teams of 8+ engineers, including oversight of tech leads or sub-team leads.
• Proven history of building and maintaining reliable, scalable, platform-level systems.
• Ability to contribute as an individual contributor to codebase and architectural decisions.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and leadership reporting.
