About the role
This role focuses on managing procurement operations and vendor relationships for specific company spend categories. You will ensure efficient processes for purchasing, invoicing, and vendor management, acting as a key partner across various internal departments.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Oversee procurement activities and manage spending for Product & Engineering (P&E) and General & Administrative (G&A) areas.
- Manage the entire process for vendors, from initial contact and contract review to renewal.
- Process and validate invoices, resolving any discrepancies to ensure timely payments.
- Administer the company's purchasing card program, ensuring compliance and providing guidance.
- Collaborate with teams like Finance, Legal, IT, HR, and Facilities to meet organizational procurement needs.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience in procurement operations or a related support function.
- Experience managing vendor lifecycles, including intake, review, negotiation, and renewal.
- Understanding of procure-to-pay workflows, purchase order management, and invoice matching.
- Familiarity with administering corporate purchasing card programs and ensuring spend compliance.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience with SaaS companies.
- Proficiency in using AI tools like Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Copilot for business problem-solving or workflow enhancement.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with reporting tools is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Zip, Tropic, NetSuite, and/or DocuSign is preferred.
Practical notes
- The annual base salary for this position ranges from $104,000.00 to $130,000.00.
- This role is not eligible for commission.
- Compensation is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
