DevOps Software Engineer at Collibra.
About the role
Collibra is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to support the Edge Platform. You will build the infrastructure and automation necessary for our customers to deploy and manage applications within our ecosystem.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create and manage workflows for deploying, upgrading, and maintaining the Edge Platform across various Kubernetes environments.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters in both cloud and on-premises settings, focusing on scalability and observability.
- Build internal tools to help teams and customers monitor and troubleshoot applications.
- Work with Product Managers and Architects to align infrastructure development with the product roadmap.
- Handle incident response and perform post-incident reviews to improve system reliability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Programming experience in Java or Go.
- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code, networking, and observability.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools.
- Must hold valid work authorization for Prague, CZ.
Skills & tools
- Kubernetes distributions: EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, k3s.
- Infrastructure-as-code.
- Observability: logging, metrics, and tracing.

- Success is measured by your ability to contribute code within one month, manage deployment workflows independently by month three, and lead infrastructure initiatives by month six.
