Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Collibra is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our internal Data Office. You will focus on scaling our self-service data platform and refining data workflows to support our internal business units.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain self-service data infrastructure to support internal data products.
• Oversee extraction and transformation tools to assist data product owners in generating business value.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure while prioritizing data security.
• Partner with departments such as Finance, Marketing, Product, and Sales to define and implement platform requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering with an emphasis on data modeling.
• Proficiency in building cloud-based data infrastructure on GCP using Terraform for IaC.
• Expertise in BigQuery and storage technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, ETL scheduling, Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Experience managing containerized workloads via Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills in English for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Interest in integrating AI and LLM tools into data engineering pipelines.
