Social Media Marketing Intern

About the role

Coins is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to help create short-form video content and support campaigns across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with the marketing team to produce Reels, TikToks, and other visual assets while staying current with social trends in the fintech and crypto space. This is a hands-on opportunity to build content creation skills within a regulated cryptocurrency company serving over 18 million users in the Philippines.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Support the planning, filming, and editing of Reels and TikToks for campaigns, educational materials, and promotional content
• Document behind-the-scenes moments at events, photo shoots, and internal team activities
• Monitor viral trends across social platforms and collaborate with the team to adapt them for fintech audiences
• Contribute ideas for new content formats, hooks, and storytelling approaches
• Help repurpose and distribute video and graphic content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter/X
• Conduct basic research on fintech and crypto topics and draft captions and post copy

Requirements

• Strong awareness of current social media trends and genuine interest in online culture
• Ability to create video content independently from concept through final edit
• Basic video editing skills for mobile-first formats
• Comfort with creative work, including appearing on camera when needed
• Interest in cryptocurrency, personal finance, or digital marketing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep files, assets, and content calendars organized
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Nice to have

• Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing tools
