Deployed Engineer - EMEA

About the role

Cognition is an applied AI lab focused on building autonomous software agents, including our flagship product, Devin. We are seeking a technical expert to join our Customer Engineering team to manage product deployments and ensure our users achieve success.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage the full technical lifecycle for customers, from initial deployment to ongoing activation.
• Analyze client workflows to pinpoint high-value use cases for Devin.
• Partner with engineering teams at client companies to integrate our platform and increase utilization.
• Develop features based on direct user feedback and advocate for customer needs within our internal product roadmap.
• Conduct product demonstrations and pilot programs to drive adoption.

Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in Spanish.
• Proven history of high performance in professional, academic, or entrepreneurial settings.
• Strong technical background with the ability to communicate effectively with senior engineers and executives.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks without direct management.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to maintain focus in high-intensity environments.
• Willingness to travel for work between 25 percent and 50 percent of the time.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or TypeScript.
• Experience building or debugging production software systems.
• Previous experience in an early-stage startup environment.
