Cyber Program Manager

About the role

COGENT Infotech is looking for a skilled IT Program Manager to oversee projects within our AI initiative. This role requires extensive experience in IT project management, particularly in the areas of AI technologies and cloud services. The successful candidate will coordinate efforts across teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while aligning with our organizational objectives.

What you'll do

• Manage and direct IT projects to ensure they meet business and IT goals.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design effective solutions.
• Ensure integration of AI models and data platforms.
• Track project progress and address any issues or risks that arise.
• Oversee the RFP process, from issuing bids to evaluating proposals.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for project implementation.
• Support the development of an AI Center of Excellence to enhance AI strategy and practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
• Communicate project risks and issues to senior management.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Manage project budgets effectively to ensure resource efficiency.
• Identify program risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum) is preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications in cybersecurity and data protection are a plus.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT project or program management, focusing on cybersecurity and cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including threat detection and incident response.
• Familiarity with Azure and AI technologies, including large language models.
• Experience with AI governance frameworks and establishing Centers of Excellence.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong ability to manage stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in agile project management methodologies.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Understanding of AI and cloud technologies.
