Join coderabbit to enhance human-machine collaboration in software development. This role focuses on optimizing our product-led growth funnel, directly impacting key business metrics. You will drive experimentation across the user journey, from initial acquisition to conversion and expansion, without direct reports.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the entire product-led growth funnel, including activation, onboarding, trial-to-paid conversion, and expansion across web, CLI, and VS Code.
- Pinpoint critical user drop-off points through funnel analysis and develop experiments to address them.
- Establish and maintain a continuous experimentation program, including hypothesis generation, instrumentation, A/B testing, and clear reporting of results.
- Optimize user experiences across different platforms like web signup, CLI authentication, and VS Code installation.
- Enhance onboarding processes for non-GitHub providers such as GitLab, where activation rates need improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate event instrumentation for comprehensive funnel measurement.
- Define and manage core metrics, making trade-offs transparent to leadership.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of product management experience, with significant time spent on growth or product-led growth funnels.
- Proven success in improving funnel metrics like conversion, activation, or retention, with supporting data.
- Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in SQL, analytics tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel, and understanding statistical significance.
- Rigorous approach to experimentation, designing clear tests, respecting sample sizes, and avoiding subjective decisions.
- Understanding of developer products and how users interact differently with CLI, IDE, and web interfaces.
- Excellent written communication and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through influence.
Nice to have
- Background in developer tools, devtools product-led growth, or working with technical audiences.
- Knowledge of bottom-up SaaS models and transitions from self-service to sales-assisted processes.
- Experience with AI or code-related products.
