Enterprise Field Engineer

About the role

This position involves acting as a technical expert for coderabbit's clients. You will guide customers through the pre-sales process, demonstrating the value of our Gen AI code review system. This role is for someone who enjoys technical challenges and building AI solutions for the software development lifecycle.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Work with Account Executives to understand client needs and create custom technical solutions.
• Convert business goals into specific technical requirements and solution designs.
• Deliver compelling demonstrations and Proof of Values (PoVs) to show the coderabbit platform's benefits.
• Assist with responses to security questionnaires.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to resolve customer issues and improve the product.
• Stay informed about new trends and technologies in AI-powered development tools.
• Help improve internal tools and create documentation like playbooks and best practices.
• Support the transition from pre-sales to post-sales for smooth customer onboarding.

Requirements

• 5 or more years in a customer-facing technical role.
• 2 or more years in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Experience collaborating with various stakeholders, from technical staff to business leaders.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer needs at once.
• Solid experience with software development tools and platforms.
• Comfortable using the command line.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and a desire to learn new skills and solve problems.
• Willingness to mentor peers and share knowledge through training and shadowing.

Nice to have

• Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github Actions).
