What you'll do
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software for current and future robot features.
- Develop and manage project plans to meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
- Coordinate with software, hardware, operations, and customer-facing teams to align objectives.
- Identify and address potential risks and opportunities that could impact product or schedule.
- Provide guidance on how software engineering efforts align with customer and product needs.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Continuously look for ways to improve and simplify processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field).
- 5+ years of program management experience, including developing software products for autonomous systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience guiding software teams focused on advanced product development.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects using methodologies like Agile or Scrum, while meeting company goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Must have and maintain US work authorization.
Nice to have
- 7+ years of program management experience, including developing software products for autonomous systems.
- Experience integrating AI solutions into engineering deliverables.
- Experience managing software products routinely deployed into live operations.
- Strong understanding of software and hardware development processes, including system integration.
- Experience delivering products certified for functional safety.
- Experience with AI tools to enhance program management.
