About the role
This role focuses on bringing collaborative robots into customer environments, ensuring successful implementations and fostering strong client relationships. You will be instrumental in the initial setup and ongoing performance of our robotic systems.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Provide excellent support during robot deployments and enhance the customer experience.
- Conduct onsite tests of hardware and software to confirm optimal robot functionality.
- Identify, document, and resolve technical issues to improve system stability and usability.
- Perform component replacements and robot upgrades to maintain operational efficiency.
- Cultivate and sustain trusting, successful partnerships with clients.
- Assess and prepare customer sites for robot deployment, including readiness checks and testing.
- Develop clear technical and operational documentation.
- Coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure effective communication and project advancement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Supply Chain Management.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive customer relationships.
- Experience with Linux, Python, and Git (or similar version control).
- Practical experience in diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical problems.
- A data-driven approach to problem-solving and reporting.
- Previous experience deploying systems in logistics, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel 75-90% of the time for onsite work.
- Must have and maintain US work authorization.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ROS or other robotic operating systems.
- Understanding of both hardware and software in complex robotic systems.
- Basic networking knowledge, including WiFi and VPN.
- Experience using AI tools for task automation.
- Skill in creating operational guides and training materials.
- Experience managing deployment programs or robotic system installations.
- Experience configuring JIRA.
