This role is responsible for translating complex equity and cash compensation programs into clear, compliant, and actionable structures that serve as the critical operational bridge between legal regulations, finance controls, and line management needs. The position drives transparency, efficiency, and enhanced decision-making across the organization by leveraging advanced analytical frameworks to solve compensation challenges. You will champion the use of artificial intelligence to redesign workflows, generate actionable insights, and guide executive leadership in making informed compensation decisions. This position is responsible for reimagining how compensation programs are administered and optimized within Clover Health Investments, Corp. The Senior Compensation & Stock Analyst uses artificial intelligence to redesign workflows and generate insights that guide executive leadership on total rewards strategy. They ensure that equity and cash programs are communicated clearly and operated compliantly, aligning with the company's mission as a direct contracting entity with the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Core Responsibilities
You will design intake processes that capture compensation requirements and translate them into structured rules that AI can execute.
Automation of salary survey handling and job leveling will be achieved using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to increase speed and accuracy.
You will implement automated band assignment and analytics workflows to reduce manual errors and improve data integrity across compensation programs.
The role involves chasing maturity across People Operations by piloting new AI methods and documenting best practices for scaling across the organization.
You will craft compensation policies and AI-enabled procedures that scale without sacrificing accuracy, compliance, or auditability.
Guidance on pay decisions and equity grants will be provided to educate managers on governance, controls, and regulatory requirements.
You will collaborate with partners to design solutions for new hires, promotions, and retention cases, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Orchestration of the annual compensation cycle, bonus reviews, and equity grant administration is a core function requiring precision and cross-functional coordination.
Administration of ESPP, refresh grants, and new-hire programs will be handled with precise record-keeping and reconciliation to maintain regulatory compliance.
Partnership with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors will ensure satisfaction of SEC, tax, and internal control rules for all compensation activities.
You will validate statutorily required reconciliations and prepare clear reports for regulators and directors to support oversight and decision-making.
Support for executives will include modeling, analysis, and governance materials for strategic compensation decisions impacting the organization.
Requirements
You hold five or more years of experience handling compensation and stock programs in a public company environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of regulatory and operational complexities.
Demonstrated advanced usage of AI tools is required to streamline workflows, strengthen reporting, and enhance the accuracy of compensation processes.
You have a proven track record of automating repetitive tasks inside compensation, from banding to complex analytics, using technology to drive efficiency.
Operating confidently in systems such as Excel, ADP Workforce Now, Pave, E*Trade, Workday, Shareworks, Carta, and Fidelity is essential for day-to-day success in this role.
You communicate complex information clearly and organize findings for presentation to leaders at all levels of the organization.
Quantitative and qualitative research methods are applied to solve compensation problems effectively, ensuring solutions are both data-driven and practical.
You possess strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A commitment to compliance and internal controls is critical, as you will be responsible for ensuring all compensation activities meet legal and regulatory standards.
