What you'll do
Orchestrating intake of source data for pipeline readiness using CI/CD tools to ensure smooth ingestion and processing. Building microservices with Docker and Kubernetes inside secure DevSecOps environments to support scalable and resilient architectures. Reviewing network programming models and data structures with team oversight to align implementation with best practices and requirements. Shipping routine adjustments for operational objectives and system processes to maintain steady progress and reliability. Partnering with IC teams to transform data into actionable intelligence and mission impact through close collaboration and shared understanding. Automating checks on work methods to solve routine issues in current platforms and reduce manual overhead. Documenting interactions with job-area contacts for information interpretation and agreements to create clear records and shared understanding. Adapting to high-trust team environments while pursuing a BS in a relevant field to balance learning with meaningful contribution. Validating configurations against operational requirements to confirm that systems behave as intended under defined conditions. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workflows, tooling, and team practices over time.
Requirements
You must pursue a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field while eligible for Top Secret clearance to meet the foundational education and trust requirements of the role. You must obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance, requiring US citizenship for this role to satisfy national security eligibility standards. You must have experience with Go or Python from classwork or prior internship exposure to demonstrate foundational programming capability in these languages. You must understand network programming fundamentals, including data structures and models, to reason about system behavior and communication patterns. You must work comfortably within adaptable team settings and deliver day-to-day objectives in dynamic and shifting priorities. You must check methods and adjust workflows for routine problems in existing systems to improve stability and reduce technical debt. You must communicate with job-area contacts to obtain and interpret information for agreement, ensuring clarity and alignment on tasks and expectations. You must possess basic job knowledge of systems and procedures from study or employment to navigate tools, processes, and organizational context. You must follow defined processes and procedures consistently to ensure predictable outcomes and compliance with standards. You must demonstrate reliability and professionalism in scheduled work and interactions with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to have
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Docker and Kubernetes to accelerate onboarding and reduce setup friction in development workflows. Experience building REST-based microservices to support modular integration and service-oriented architectures. Completion of CTF or other Hackathon challenges to showcase problem-solving skills and practical security awareness. Experience working in a professional environment to adapt quickly to norms, expectations, and team collaboration styles.
