About the role

As a System Architect, you will design and implement architectural frameworks that support business objectives. You will collaborate with business owners and Release Train Engineers to ensure technology solutions are scalable and efficient. Your work will ensure that delivery aligns with business outcomes through data-driven guidance.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Partner with business owners and RTEs to define project scope, success metrics, milestones, and risks.
• Ensure traceability from strategic goals to capabilities and portfolio items using Jira/Jira Align.
• Conduct impact and risk analysis, maintaining a repository for dependencies, lifecycle, cost drivers, and regulatory exposure.
• Provide data-led, AI-aware guidance, promoting telemetry, data governance, and pragmatic AI practices.
• Curate reference capabilities, information, and integration principles, coaching other architects.
• Define and report outcome measures such as lead time, reliability, risk reduction, and cost avoidance.

Requirements

• Expertise in system architecture, including capability mapping, target-state design, and incremental roadmapping.
• Practical experience with architectural tools, linking strategy to SAFe/Lean Portfolio themes, OKRs, epics, and features.
• Knowledge of information and data governance, risk, compliance, and technology lifecycle management.
• Ability to assess platforms and technologies, including cloud, integration, eventing, and observability options.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 (Upper Intermediate) level for global team communication.
• Strong communication skills to frame executive decisions and translate ambiguity into actionable roadmaps.
