About the role

Ciandt is looking for an AI Engineer to join a transformation program focused on modernizing software development lifecycles using artificial intelligence. You will build the infrastructure and agentic workflows that integrate AI into production environments for a strategic client in the benefits sector.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Configure and customize generative AI platforms to meet specific SDLC requirements including prompts, personas, and context.
• Build and maintain agentic workflows connected to development pipelines like Azure DevOps and Git.
• Embed AI agents across the software lifecycle from initial analysis and refinement to testing and deployment.
• Optimize agent performance and strategies for each development stage.
• Collaborate with the AI Orchestrator to execute the infrastructure roadmap.
• Automate development tasks while maintaining strict compliance, security, and quality standards using tools like SonarQube and Veracode.
• Manage technical risks associated with deploying AI agents in production.
• Ensure all AI solutions follow ethical and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Strong background in software development using Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitFlow, and SonarQube.
• Proficiency in cloud computing, specifically AWS services like Lambda, SQS, and S3.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools for development, such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to create and evaluate prompts, configure agents, and assess output quality.
• Solid understanding of code quality practices including automated testing, BDD, and SAST.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic frameworks and methods like AISDD or Spec-Kit.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture using Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Familiarity with flow observability tools such as Flow Ops or Databricks.
• History of working on large-scale projects involving multiple squads.
• Background in the benefits or fintech industries.
