About the role
Ciandt is seeking a mid-level Data Analyst to serve as a primary connection between raw data and organizational decision-making. You will build dashboards, define key performance indicators, and perform exploratory analysis to turn complex information into clear business narratives.

What you'll do
- Translate business needs into specific dashboard requirements and analytical solutions.
- Create, manage, and refine reports using business intelligence platforms.
- Establish and document a formal metrics dictionary to ensure consistent KPI governance.
- Conduct ad-hoc investigations to uncover trends, anomalies, and new business opportunities.
- Present findings to stakeholders using data storytelling techniques.
- Partner with Data Engineering to verify data quality and improve pipeline reliability.
- Support business users by creating self-service analytics tools and documentation.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Specialist.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Practical experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent BI tools, including DAX and performance tuning.
- Advanced Excel capabilities, specifically Power Query, complex formulas, and Pivot Tables.
- Ability to validate data through business logic and identify quality gaps.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical insights to non-technical audiences.
- Advanced English proficiency in reading, writing, and listening.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Python or R for automation and advanced analysis.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and Star Schema.
- Experience managing data dictionaries and metadata.
- Background in B2B analytics or working with partner data.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Notion.
- Experience in Scrum or Kanban agile environments.
- Understanding of dashboard UX and visualization best practices.
- Industry experience in retail, e-commerce, supply chain, logistics, or marketplaces.
- Relevant BI tool certifications.
