What you'll do
- Address regulatory and mandatory demands for a client in the benefits sector.
- Modernize legacy systems.
- Develop Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
- Maintain clean, simple, and easily maintainable code.
- Work with Oracle and Mongo databases.
- Apply Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, including dailies, sprints, and reviews.
Requirements
- Experience with legacy system modernization.
- Background in handling regulatory or mandatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Java development with Spring Boot.
- Ability to develop unit tests and engage in code reviews.
- Strong understanding of clean code principles.
- Experience with Oracle and Mongo databases.
- Familiarity with Agile concepts (Scrum, Kanban, dailies, sprints, reviews).
- Knowledge of OCP, VSTS, AWS, pipelines, lambdas, Sonar, microservices architecture, and Azure.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with legacy Java technologies (Servlets, JSP, JAX-WS/JAX-RS).
- Experience with Docker.
