Join a new team at Ciandt to support a client in the benefits market. This role focuses on developing solutions for regulatory and mandatory requirements impacting all client systems. You will contribute to modernizing existing systems and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

What you'll do

• Address regulatory and mandatory demands for a client in the benefits sector.
• Modernize legacy systems.
• Develop Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Maintain clean, simple, and easily maintainable code.
• Work with Oracle and Mongo databases.
• Apply Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, including dailies, sprints, and reviews.

Requirements

• Experience with legacy system modernization.
• Background in handling regulatory or mandatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Java development with Spring Boot.
• Ability to develop unit tests and engage in code reviews.
• Strong understanding of clean code principles.
• Experience with Oracle and Mongo databases.
• Familiarity with Agile concepts (Scrum, Kanban, dailies, sprints, reviews).
• Knowledge of OCP, VSTS, AWS, pipelines, lambdas, Sonar, microservices architecture, and Azure.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with legacy Java technologies (Servlets, JSP, JAX-WS/JAX-RS).
• Experience with Docker.
