About the role
Chime is looking for a Program Manager to join the Strategic Operations and Transformation Office (SOTO) within the Operations and Member Experience (OMX) division. This role focuses on leading high-priority strategic initiatives that support OMX's key results and Chime's wider business goals. You will act as a general manager for critical projects, bringing structure to complex situations and driving initiatives from planning through completion.

What you'll do
- Take full ownership of OMX's most important strategic initiatives, ensuring measurable business impact through strong program leadership.
- Structure ambiguous problems by creating clear execution plans, aligning stakeholders, and guiding complex projects from strategy to delivery with minimal supervision.
- Identify potential risks, adjust to changing business priorities, and keep programs on track through careful planning, governance, and operational discipline.
- Create compelling, data-backed communications for executives to gain alignment, influence decisions, and speed up progress across the organization.
- Work directly with senior leaders and various teams to ensure accountability, resolve operational challenges, and deliver scalable solutions that advance OMX's strategic goals.
- Continuously observe OMX team operations to find patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities beyond your assigned programs.
- Collaborate with SOTO to use AI, automation, and scalable operating methods to simplify workflows, increase organizational capacity, and improve how OMX operates at scale.
- Promote continuous improvement by introducing scalable operating mechanisms, strengthening program governance, and helping teams work with greater speed, clarity, and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Program Management, Management Consulting, Member Experience, or a similar field.
- Strong program management abilities, including designing simple, scalable solutions for complex business problems and leading initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level communications and presenting to senior leaders.
- Proven success in leading highly cross-functional initiatives and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
- An ownership mindset, capable of independently identifying challenges, managing risks proactively, and executing with little guidance in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience using tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar to inform decisions and measure business results.
- Experience identifying and implementing AI, automation, and scalable process improvements to boost operational efficiency and allow teams to focus on high-value work.
