Senior Manager, IT

About the role

Checkr is looking for a leader to oversee our internal IT operations and modernize our technical infrastructure. You will manage the IT team, define our roadmap for identity and device management, and implement automation to improve internal productivity.

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end IT stack, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Meraki, and Verkada.
• Direct the IT Operations team, handling hiring, goal setting, and professional development.
• Integrate AI and automation tools, such as Anthropic Claude, to optimize workflows.
• Coordinate with Information Security to ensure IAM, device management, and infrastructure meet compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Workplace and Events teams to provide technical support for offices and company functions.
• Track operational performance using metrics like SLAs, uptime, and employee satisfaction.
• Oversee vendor relationships to maintain cost-effective and high-quality service.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in people management, specifically within IT or systems engineering.
• 4+ years of experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, or Atlassian.
• Demonstrated success in deploying AI or automation initiatives to increase productivity.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including endpoint management, vendor assessments, and IAM.
• Experience scaling IT teams during periods of company growth.
• Salary range: $179,000 to $211,000 USD per year.
