ServiceNow Development Engineer at Charles Schwab.
About the role
You will join the team to build and maintain the HR Service Delivery platform for our large-scale enterprise environment. This role focuses on creating reliable automation and system configurations that improve how our staff interacts with HR services.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and configure ServiceNow solutions to support HR operations.
- Collaborate with product owners and HR stakeholders to turn business needs into technical requirements.
- Manage system integrations and maintain platform performance.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including testing, quality assurance, and release management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues within the production environment to ensure stability.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience, including production application support.
- 2+ years of direct ServiceNow development experience.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow server-side and client-side scripting, data modeling, and workflows.
- Background in supporting or designing HR Service Delivery or case management systems.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Ability to apply security and compliance standards to development work.
- Experience working within structured development frameworks in cloud-based environments.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience with ServiceNow HRSD in large-scale enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with Now Assist or similar platform automation tools.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with Workday.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing technical tradeoffs.
