Sales Development Representative

About the role

Censys builds tools to map and monitor the internet for global organizations. We are looking for a motivated individual to manage initial prospect outreach and build a pipeline of qualified opportunities for our sales team.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage inbound and outbound lead qualification to move prospects through the sales funnel.
• Respond to incoming inquiries within defined service level agreements.
• Schedule meetings and generate opportunities for Account Executives according to company criteria.
• Research target accounts and personas to conduct cold outreach campaigns.
• Log all sales activities and data in Salesforce.
• Hit monthly meeting quotas to support territory growth.
• Partner with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.
• Join customer meetings with Account Executives as needed.
• Use AI tools to support daily prospecting tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a prospecting role.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach.io, and ZoomInfo.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Technical and business aptitude.

Nice to have

• Background in the cybersecurity industry.
