Product Marketing Manager, Exposure Management
About the role
Censys is building the definitive map of the internet and needs a Product Marketing Manager to amplify the story of our Exposure Management solutions. You will translate technical capabilities into clear value propositions that resonate with security leaders. This role is central to how we communicate our offerings to the market.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Shape and refine the core messaging and positioning for our Internet Exposure product suite.
- Convert product details and market intelligence into understandable narratives for sales, marketing, and customers.
- Lead the strategy for bringing new products and features to market, focusing on driving awareness and interest.
- Collaborate with demand generation teams to translate foundational messaging into effective campaigns.
- Equip the sales team with the tools they need, such as presentations and competitive guides, to increase their success rate.
- Interact directly with customers and the sales field, including presenting at events and supporting key sales conversations.
- Incorporate feedback from customers and the field to continuously improve our communication.
- Ensure a consistent and unified message across all marketing materials, campaigns, and sales interactions.
- Work with product, sales, content, and communications teams to focus our messaging on the most impactful areas.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, solutions engineering, or a similar field.
- A strong background in cybersecurity is highly preferred, specifically in areas like Exposure Management, Attack Surface Management, cyber risk, or related security domains.
- Demonstrated ability to create clear and persuasive messaging for technically complex products.
- Experience working closely with sales and field teams, with a solid understanding of enterprise sales processes.
- Comfort presenting to both technical audiences and senior executives.
- Ability to engage credibly in technical discussions.
- A good grasp of competitive positioning and the dynamics of the cybersecurity market.
Nice to have
- Experience with internet intelligence, internet infrastructure, or visibility into external attack surfaces.
- Familiarity with supplier security, security ratings, or cyber risk intelligence platforms.
- Experience developing campaigns and demand generation programs from product insights.
- Experience with both Product-Led Growth (PLG) and traditional enterprise go-to-market strategies.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment.

Practical notes
- Salary range for high cost of living US areas (San Francisco, Seattle, NYC): $175,000 - $210,000 USD, plus bonus and equity.
- Salary range for other US locations: $155,000 - $171,000 USD, plus bonus and equity.
- Compensation for international candidates will be based on local market data.
- Benefits include equity, health, dental, vision, retirement contributions, parental leave, wellness programs, flexible PTO, and professional development stipends for US employees.
- Sales roles may have incentive pay, and eligible non-sales roles have an annual bonus plan.
