Censys is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to enhance our internal technology infrastructure. You will be instrumental in ensuring our systems are well-connected, effectively utilized, and contribute significantly to business objectives. This position focuses on optimizing how our tools function together to drive efficiency and support company growth.

What you'll do

• Examine and continually assess the company's technology stack to pinpoint areas of overlap, deficiency, and inefficiency.
• Establish and maintain a clear framework for our systems architecture, confirming tools are used for their intended purpose and avoiding duplication.
• Lead efforts to consolidate and streamline software tools where beneficial.
• Improve internal connections between systems and enhance the two-way flow of data.
• Collaborate with those who manage specific tools to improve the accuracy, consistency, and availability of data across all platforms.
• Promote widespread adoption of essential systems through training, clear documentation, and process enhancements.
• Work with different departments to ensure system configurations align with actual operational processes.
• Monitor system usage patterns and identify opportunities to increase engagement and productivity.
• Explore and propose ways to integrate artificial intelligence capabilities into existing tools like CRMs, applicant tracking systems, and support platforms.
• Evaluate and test new AI-powered tools or features that can boost productivity and decision-making.
• Partner with various teams to practically and scalably embed AI into daily work routines.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in business systems, operations, or IT roles.
• Significant experience with major Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and integrated systems, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Greenhouse, Rippling, or Zendesk.
• Demonstrated success in refining workflows, connecting disparate systems, and increasing the adoption of technology tools.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, and automation platforms like Zapier or Workato.
• Familiarity with AI features in modern SaaS applications and a strong interest in discovering new uses for AI.
• A highly analytical mindset with a talent for understanding how different organizational components interact.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
• Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may change.
• A proactive approach focused on problem-solving and implementing solutions.

Practical notes

• Salary range for high cost of living US areas (San Francisco, Seattle, NYC): $134,000 - $154,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
• Salary range for all other US locations: $114,000 - $130,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility and equity.
• Compensation for international candidates will be determined based on local market data.
• Actual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, potential impact, role scope, market demands, and work location. Pay ranges are localized for remote roles.
• US benefits include equity, health, dental, vision, retirement plan with company contribution, parental leave, wellness benefits, flexible PTO, and professional development stipend. Sales roles may have sales incentive pay, and non-sales roles may have an annual bonus.
