What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of software applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality code and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Optimize existing software applications for improved performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on technical challenges and career development.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform software development strategies.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Document software designs, architectures, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
