You will oversee the operational success of several Inspection Centers, guiding General Managers and their teams to meet production goals. This role involves ensuring strong staffing, high employee retention, and a culture that aligns with company values. You will drive continuous improvement and problem-solving across multiple sites.

- Provide leadership that sets a clear purpose and positive tone within the Inspection Centers.
- Develop high-performing teams and ensure future demand can be met.
- Maintain a presence on the shop floor to understand daily operations and connect with staff.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve production issues.
- Manage production planning, capacity, and ensure adherence to operating standards.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and loss prevention guidelines.
- Partner with People Operations to build talent pipelines and manage employee turnover.
- Mentor Inspection Center General Managers and foster effective teamwork.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing training and accountability.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean record (no DUIs, no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
- At least 10 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing, leading over 100 associates.
- Currently a General Manager at a Carvana Inspection Center or has successfully led multiple manufacturing or reconditioning centers.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles in complex environments.
- Proven track record of developing both associates and managers.
- Ability to manage project deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in various environmental conditions (cold, hot, noisy, wet, fumes).
- Capable of using safety equipment including face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, and masks.
- Available to work overtime, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds independently, primarily from knee to shoulder heights.
- Ability to walk up to three miles daily.
