Senior Operations Manager

About the role

This position manages multiple reconditioning lines at the Inspection and Reconditioning Center to ensure production goals are achieved. You will serve as the primary site leader in the absence of the General Manager, focusing on efficiency, quality, and staff development.

What you'll do

• Direct production planning for a full working shift across multiple reconditioning lines.
• Manage site operations to hit production, cost, and quality targets when the General Manager is offsite.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve throughput bottlenecks and implement corrective action plans.
• Present weekly performance reports to Senior Reconditioning leadership regarding targets and operational challenges.
• Lead daily huddles to set priorities for the site team.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and train staff on new process standards.
• Mentor Reconditioning Leads and Managers through competency-based feedback and development plans.
• Enforce health, safety, and loss prevention protocols across the facility.

Requirements

• 8+ years of management experience within lean manufacturing or automotive sectors.
• Proven history of leading teams of 50+ associates and fostering employee growth.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid, unrestricted driver license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk up to three miles daily.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Willingness to relocate regionally or nationwide.
• Capability to work a variable schedule.
• Ability to work in environments that may involve noise, varying temperatures, fumes, or odors.
• Must be able to use required safety gear including goggles, gloves, masks, and non-slip footwear.
