Cartesia is building AI that mirrors human interaction and learning. We are looking for a Technical Sourcer to drive our talent acquisition by identifying and engaging top-tier engineering professionals.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract talent for Research, ML Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Product Engineering.
- Identify candidates through academic conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR, as well as research publications and platforms such as GitHub and Hugging Face.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of passive candidates for immediate and future hiring needs.
- Draft personalized outreach messages that appeal to highly technical professionals.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for candidates to ensure a positive experience.
- Work with hiring managers and the recruiting team to refine role requirements and search parameters.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of technical sourcing experience, specifically within engineering recruitment.
- Ability to engage with technical concepts in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, or large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in Boolean search, talent mapping, and navigating online technical ecosystems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing candidate pipelines using applicant tracking systems.
