About the role
Caribou Financial is hiring a Senior Manager to oversee the Titling Operations department during a period of growth in lending activity. This position centers on leading a team of titling professionals while driving operational results. You will own both people management and process execution for the department.

What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of titling specialists, supervisors, and support staff through regular feedback, clear expectations, and performance management in coordination with People Operations
- Build onboarding programs that accelerate new hire productivity and create development pathways for high performers
- Drive team results against lien perfection rate, queue age, and throughput KPIs while conducting queue audits to catch issues before SLA breaches
- Coordinate scheduling across internal employees and vendor partners, and handle escalated cases involving customers, lenders, or state jurisdictions
- Refine and enforce standard operating procedures, pinpoint workflow bottlenecks, and implement changes that improve speed and accuracy
- Work with the Director of Titling Strategy and Compliance to translate state-by-state regulatory changes into training materials and daily processes
- Oversee day-to-day vendor relationships for titling services, flag performance concerns, and ensure external partners meet SLA commitments
Requirements
- 7+ years working in a high-volume, document-heavy, regulated environment such as auto titling, mortgage, auto lending, or insurance operations
- 2+ years managing teams of 10 or more people with accountability driven by defined KPIs, structured one-on-ones, and formal performance processes
- Track record of hiring, onboarding, and developing frontline specialists and supervisors in a metrics-focused setting
- Strong instincts for process improvement with ability to spot inefficiencies, redesign workflows, and make changes that last
- Skilled at problem-solving and de-escalation for complex operational issues and escalations from vendors or customers
- Clear written and verbal communication for working across internal teams and external partners including lenders, vendors, and jurisdictions
- Highly organized with ability to build structured daily workflows, track KPIs, and deliver against SLAs
- Proficient in Google Workspace and able to work across multiple systems while adapting quickly to changes
- High school diploma or GED required

- Salary range: $105,000 to $130,000
