Manager Corporate Technology at Caribou Financial.
About the role
You will lead the Corporate Technology team, overseeing both security and IT operations for a growing organization. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on management to ensure our internal systems, software, and security protocols drive employee productivity. You will report directly to the CTO and manage a team consisting of three senior security practitioners and one senior IT administrator.

What you'll do
- Direct the security and IT strategy, including vendor management and program advancement.
- Own the SOC 2 Type II audit process to ensure clean, systematic delivery.
- Manage detection and response functions, including SIEM, EDR, and DLP operations.
- Maintain and update GRC policies and control documentation to reflect current operations.
- Administer the SaaS portfolio, including Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Asana, 1Password, and Adobe.
- Launch and manage an operational AI enablement program for non-technical staff.
- Oversee IT operations and manage the relationship with our MSP to ensure high support standards.
- Coach and develop direct reports through clear growth plans and performance management.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering a SOC 2 Type II audit as the primary owner.
- Background in managing detection and response, including SIEM tuning and EDR deployment.
- Experience building or maintaining GRC policy and control documentation in a regulated environment.
- Expertise in managing a SaaS portfolio, including licensing, governance, and adoption.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide software rollouts and identity and access management.
- Ability to manage MSP relationships and hold them to service standards.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of hiring, coaching, and managing team performance.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying AI tools or low-code agent platforms.
- Proficiency with EDR and CSPM platforms.
- Familiarity with GLBA Safeguards Rule or NYDFS.
- Background in fintech or financial services.
