Senior Product Data Analyst, Dealer

About the role

The Dealer team is seeking a Senior Product Data Analyst to manage complex data environments and drive product growth through experimentation and advanced analytics. You will serve as a key partner to Product and Engineering, transforming raw data into actionable insights that shape our dealer-facing product suite.

What you'll do

• Perform exploratory analysis using SQL and Python to connect disparate data sources like subscription records, inventory, and website usage.
• Translate high-level business requests into precise calculations and actionable outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to brainstorm and plan data-driven innovations.
• Define, audit, and improve business success metrics.
• Design intuitive dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making for leadership.
• Develop automated data transformations using dbt and LookML.
• Partner with Data Engineering to optimize core data modeling and user clickstream logging.
• Utilize agentic workflows and Claude Code to automate and scale analytical processes.
• Present complex quantitative findings to senior stakeholders and address follow-up inquiries.
• Proactively identify and resolve modeling bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in analytics, including quantitative analysis and complex modeling.
• 2+ years of experience presenting high-impact results to leadership to influence strategy.
• Expert proficiency in SQL.
• Strong background in Python or R.
• Deep understanding of statistical concepts such as regression, significance testing, and omitted variable bias.
• Demonstrated project planning skills, including roadmap building and resource estimation.
• Ability to challenge proposals and advocate for data-backed innovations.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools for workflow optimization, specifically Claude Code or Cursor.

• Snowflake, Snowplow, dbt, Looker, Omni, Jira, Salesforce, Google Suite, MS Suite.
