Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Carey International manages global ground transportation with a history spanning over a century. We are looking for a dedicated engineer to serve as the final authority on software releases. You will be responsible for defining our testing standards and ensuring that every deployment meets our operational requirements.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Create and maintain a comprehensive library of test cases, regression suites, and checklists for edge cases.
• Execute manual, exploratory, and cross-device testing for both web and mobile platforms.
• Verify core business processes including billing, dispatch, operations, and booking.
• Develop automated UI and API tests, prioritizing the most critical system paths.
• Manage the full lifecycle of defects from logging and reproduction to final resolution.
• Provide the final sign-off for all product releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in QA, software testing, or SDET roles.
• Proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Working knowledge of SQL and API testing.

Practical notes

Your first 90 days are structured to help you integrate into the team. During the first month, you will focus on platform knowledge and workflow setup. By the second month, you will manage your own release sign-offs. In the third month, you will deploy your first automated regression suite and monitor your testing dashboards.
