Senior Designer (Freelance)

About the role

Eucalyptus is seeking a Senior Designer to join our team on a freelance basis to drive visual concept development and brand-focused design. You will work across our diverse portfolio, including Juniper and other digital health clinics like Pilot, Kin, Software, and Compound, to create impactful patient-facing experiences.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Create visual concepts and designs for digital, print, and out-of-home media such as billboards, packaging, social assets, and TVC storyboards.
• Translate high-level briefs into strategic, brand-aligned creative work.
• Manage design projects from start to finish while meeting deadlines.
• Produce assets for web, mobile, and in-app environments.
• Direct campaign and product photography, covering moodboards, styling, lighting, and set design.
• Update and manage design systems to improve internal workflows.
• Use customer data and performance metrics to inform creative decisions.
• Coordinate with external vendors to produce physical and digital assets.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an agency, in-house studio, or brand setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design projects across various brands.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across different departments.
• Experience working in a high-speed environment with strict deadlines.
• A portfolio that showcases work in web, mobile, and print design.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in motion design using After Effects and video editing with Premiere Pro.
• Background in the healthcare, wellness, or technology sectors.
