Marketing Executive

About the role

Careem is seeking an execution-oriented Marketing Executive to join the Vertical Marketing team in Amman. You will manage local campaigns across our rides, food, and grocery segments to boost customer acquisition and engagement. This position requires a professional who can blend regional strategy with local market insights to deliver impactful results.

What you'll do

• Manage the full lifecycle of marketing campaigns across digital, out-of-home, and in-app platforms.
• Collaborate with the rides, food, and grocery teams to launch seasonal promotions and go-to-market strategies.
• Direct creative agencies and internal teams to ensure all content is culturally relevant and brand-aligned.
• Track key performance indicators such as conversion rates, click-through rates, and gross merchandise value growth.
• Coordinate with product, operations, and city teams to synchronize marketing efforts with business goals.
• Oversee relationships with media agencies and external vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Analyze competitor moves and local consumer trends to shape future marketing tactics.
• Assist in monitoring campaign expenditures to ensure alignment with budget allocations.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of marketing experience in a tech startup, agency, or consumer brand.
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing end-to-end campaigns across various channels.
• Ability to interpret data and performance metrics to provide clear business recommendations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
