Senior Growth analyst

About the role

This position focuses on generating data-informed strategies that support user acquisition, engagement, and retention across Careem's platform and business verticals. You will analyze consumer behavior, identify growth opportunities, optimize campaigns, and improve metrics including CLTV, CAC, AOV, and ARPU.

What you'll do

• Pull data from SQL databases, APIs, and third-party tools to support analysis work
• Clean, prepare, and wrangle datasets to ensure accuracy and usability
• Verify data quality on an ongoing basis to maintain reliable information for decisions
• Build and refine scripts that automate repetitive data tasks
• Run exploratory data analysis to surface trends and patterns at the channel, vertical, and campaign level
• Study user activity and segment performance to identify behavior trends affecting growth and retention
• Apply statistical techniques to forecast trends and potential outcomes
• Create and maintain dashboards in Tableau or Power BI for real-time stakeholder visibility
• Produce weekly and monthly reports covering key performance indicators
• Translate complex data into clear visualizations
• Monitor core growth KPIs such as retention, churn, and acquisition metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics from a Tier-1 institute
• 4-5 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally within a large-scale B2C startup (food delivery, e-commerce, gaming) or consumer internet company
• Proficiency in data mining, statistical modeling, and advanced data analysis
• Strong command of Python, SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, VBA, Tableau) plus PowerPoint
• Solid grasp of A/B testing, regression analysis, user segmentation, cohort analysis, digital and mobile app attribution, and incrementality measurement
• Proven ability to apply behavior analytics principles to growth models
• Clear communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
