About the role

We are hiring a Senior Communications Specialist to join our Dubai office for a one-year fixed-term contract. You will manage both internal and external messaging to support our ride-hailing, food, payments, and quick commerce services.

What you'll do

• Implement communication plans that highlight our company mission and service impact.
• Oversee media relations, including writing press releases and coordinating with influencers and journalists.
• Draft internal content such as leadership updates and all-hands materials to keep staff informed.
• Partner with departments like Product, Marketing, and People to ensure consistent messaging.
• Assist with reputation management and crisis communication alongside senior leadership.
• Monitor media metrics and internal engagement data to produce performance reports.
• Increase executive visibility through speaking engagements, interviews, and authored content.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of professional experience in PR, journalism, or communications, ideally within a tech firm or agency.
• Demonstrated ability to create and run communication strategies across various markets.
• Advanced editorial and storytelling skills with a talent for simplifying technical or complex subjects.
• Established network of media contacts within the MENA region.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Capacity to manage several concurrent projects in a high-speed work environment.
