About the role
Careem is expanding its grocery division and seeks a dedicated professional to manage commercial partnerships across the UAE. You will oversee high-profile supermarket accounts, focusing on operational growth and strategic performance.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major grocery and supermarket brands.
- Expand business volume by onboarding new high-value partners and optimizing existing accounts.
- Monitor metrics including GTV, order frequency, basket size, and SKU availability to guide decision-making.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess commercial health and set future performance targets.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Care to meet growth objectives.
- Manage monetization efforts by promoting advertising and in-app campaigns to increase partner order volume.
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial roles or enterprise account management, specifically within e-commerce, FMCG, retail, or grocery sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain relationships with high-profile retail partners.
- High adaptability and the ability to solve complex commercial problems, including understanding margin structures and promotional mechanics.
- A self-starting mindset with the ability to manage personal priorities and ownership of tasks.
