Cara builds specialized AI tools to automate operations for insurance agencies, brokerages, and wholesalers. You will join a growing team of experts from firms like Stripe and Blend to develop the infrastructure and features that power our digital workforce.

What you'll do

• Build and improve autonomous AI agents that handle end-to-end insurance tasks.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and core infrastructure.
• Partner with enterprise clients to create custom solutions that integrate into our primary platform.
• Maintain and scale core systems, focusing on observability, asynchronous processing, and compute infrastructure.
• Optimize production environments to ensure high-speed performance for AI-driven workflows.
• Work with founders and the go-to-market team to define product roadmaps and translate client needs into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack engineering, including shipping features from start to finish.
• Strong technical background in computer science.
• Practical experience with Golang, Typescript, and React.
• Knowledge of AI workflows, APIs, and related tooling.
• Ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
