Social Media Specialist

About the role

Canva is looking for a specialist to drive our social media presence in Vietnam. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and measuring content that resonates with local audiences while building the foundation for our regional growth.

What you'll do

• Manage the full lifecycle of the Vietnam social media strategy, including planning, community engagement, and performance reporting
• Develop a content playbook for TikTok and Instagram Reels that incorporates local cultural trends in real time
• Create a library of assets by filming, editing, and designing content directly within Canva
• Adapt global marketing campaigns to ensure they are culturally relevant for Vietnamese freelancers, SMEs, creators, and educators
• Collaborate with the UGC team to establish a network of local influencers and creators
• Define a performance measurement framework and provide a final insights report upon project completion

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in social media marketing with a focus on growth and content creation
• Demonstrated expertise in producing high-performing content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Deep familiarity with the Vietnamese creator ecosystem, digital trends, and internet culture
• Ability to act as an on-camera personality, creator, and editor
• Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English
• Strong analytical skills with a history of using data to refine content strategy
