About the role
We are seeking a community-focused professional to expand and nurture our user ecosystem within China. You will design and implement strategies that connect with students, creators, and educators to foster a vibrant and active user base.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Formulate and carry out the annual community roadmap for the Chinese market.
- Oversee the growth of specific segments including campus, creator, and education groups.
- Launch and refine programs such as the Campus Ambassador initiative and the National College Advertising Art Competition (大广赛).
- Organize the community content calendar, including workshops, online sessions, and campaigns.
- Facilitate communication across social channels to collect user feedback and improve the product experience.
- Manage end-to-end event logistics, including budgeting, vendor relations, and onsite coordination for roadshows and meetups.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing departments to track performance metrics and refine engagement strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in community management, user growth, brand marketing, or event marketing.
- Demonstrated success in scaling engaged communities within internet platforms, education, or creator ecosystems.
- Expertise in managing complex, large-scale online and offline events from start to finish.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Chinese social media landscape and local community platforms.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive cross-functional projects.
- Analytical proficiency in using data to measure and improve program performance.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools to assist in content creation, community operations, or event execution.
- Proficiency in English for effective collaboration with global teams.
- Prior experience managing campus partnerships or creator programs.
