About the role

Canva is looking for a creative leader to shape the future of visual content as we integrate AI into our production workflows. You will oversee the strategy for photo and video assets used by over 220 million users, balancing high-end creative direction with large-scale technical implementation.

What you'll do

• Develop the creative vision for our photography and video library to ensure content is diverse and current.
• Implement AI-driven production methods to generate, tag, and scale assets efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and production teams to build scalable content creation workflows.
• Maintain quality standards by commissioning shoots and reviewing visual assets.
• Support the growth of the AI Template Marketplace by integrating high-quality photo and video elements.
• Manage and mentor a team of content producers, videographers, and photographers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in creative leadership within photography or video production.
• Demonstrated history of integrating AI tools into professional creative workflows.
• Experience managing creative teams and fostering professional development.
• Ability to manage content at a platform scale involving millions of assets.
• Skill in balancing creative output with operational requirements.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments with product managers and engineers.
