About the role
Cantor Fitzgerald is looking for a Junior Product Manager to bridge the gap between our broking desks and technical teams. You will manage the product lifecycle for our rates and credit trading platforms by translating business requirements into actionable development tasks.

What you'll do
- Gather requirements and identify workflow improvements by working directly with brokers and business stakeholders.
- Write user stories, define functional requirements, and establish acceptance criteria.
- Manage the product backlog and assist senior management with prioritization.
- Act as the primary contact between trading desks, software developers, and quality assurance teams.
- Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, and report risks or blockers.
- Prepare training materials and documentation for new feature rollouts.
- Verify business logic and oversee User Acceptance Testing with end users.
- Analyze trading data to track feature adoption, workflow performance, and issue trends.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, product management, or delivery within capital markets technology, e-trading venues, or interdealer brokerage.
- Deep understanding of Fixed Income markets, specifically government bonds like Treasuries, Gilts, EGBs, and inflation-linked products like TIPS.
- Experience in at least one credit market area: Corporate Bonds (Investment Grade or High Yield) or Emerging Markets Bonds.
- Knowledge of Interest Rate Derivatives (IRS, OIS, FRA, basis swaps, swaptions, caps, floors) and Credit Derivatives (single-name CDS, CDS indices).
- Familiarity with lifecycle events including coupons, rolls, and credit events.
- Understanding of pricing and risk concepts such as yield-to-maturity, DV01, price vs. yield, and credit fundamentals like clean/dirty pricing and settlement conventions.
- Knowledge of trading structures (switches, flies, basis trades) and protocols (CLOB, auction mechanisms).
- Proficiency in collaborating with front-office staff, developers, and QA teams.
Nice to have
- Exposure to implied trading and legging strategies.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
Skills & tools
- Advanced Excel for large datasets.
- SQL for data querying (Oracle or Sybase).
- Basic-to-intermediate Python (Pandas, Matplotlib) using Jupyter or Colab.
- Requirements and delivery tracking in Jira and Confluence.
- QA practices, including defining test scenarios and validating results.
