The Fixed Income Product Manager will serve as a key link among business stakeholders, trading desks, and technology teams. This role involves identifying, defining, and implementing enhancements to the platform that promote revenue growth, broaden market reach, and maintain regulatory adherence.

What you'll do

• Work closely with business stakeholders to discover new features that can boost revenue, expand market presence, and ensure compliance.
• Convert business needs into clear and actionable system specifications.
• Act as a liaison among trading desks, developers, and quality assurance teams to guarantee effective implementation and rollout of solutions.
• Assist in quality assurance during testing phases and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users to secure timely approvals.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income products, including Treasuries, Gilts, EGBs, TIPS/Linkers, and Corporate Bonds.
• Strong understanding of derivative instruments like Credit Default Swaps (CDS), Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Overnight Indexed Swaps (OIS), Forward Rate Agreements (FRAs), Caps/Floors, and Swaptions.
• Excellent comprehension of price, yield-to-maturity, and DV01 concepts along with their calculations.
• Familiarity with structured trades and packages (switches, flies, basis, gadgets, spread switches) and their pricing and settlement processes.
• Knowledge of trading protocols, including Central Limit Order Books (CLOB) and auction mechanisms.
• (Optional) Insight into implied trading and legging strategies.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in advanced Excel functions.
• Working knowledge of SQL for database querying (Oracle, Sybase, NoSQL).
• Capability to perform data analysis using Python frameworks such as Pandas and Matplotlib (in Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab).
• Experience capturing requirements in Confluence and Jira.
• Familiarity with test automation and the ability to guide the QA team on testing scenarios.
