Senior Field Revenue Operations Strategist-North America
About the role
This position is central to the commercial success of a specific sales region, acting as a single point of contact for all sales operations and deal desk functions. You will directly support a VP of Sales, ensuring the smooth operation of the entire commercial process from initial engagement through to closing deals.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Partner on complex and non-standard commercial agreements, guiding them from inception to completion.
- Review and approve pricing, discount structures, and contract terms to ensure alignment with company policies.
- Provide guidance to Account Executives on deal architecture and financial implications.
- Manage the quoting and order form process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to service level agreements.
- Address and resolve escalations, collaborating with Finance and Legal teams with clear recommendations.
- Oversee regional forecasting, pipeline analysis, and maintain Salesforce data integrity with relevant dashboards.
- Contribute to quota setting, territory planning, and participate in business reviews.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and internal departments like RevOps, Finance, and Legal.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations, preferably within B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
- A minimum of 3 years specifically in a Deal Desk or SaaS quoting role, managing the quote-to-booking lifecycle.
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and finalize complex commercial deals, including multi-year, multi-product, and partner-involved agreements.
- Strong analytical capabilities for pipeline modeling and forecast risk assessment.
- Executive presence and comfort interacting with VP-level stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of SaaS revenue models and metrics such as ARR, TCV, and NRR, along with pipeline coverage.
- The capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
- A proven track record of being a reliable partner to sales teams.
- Experience collaborating with Finance, Legal, and Sales departments.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with DealHub (CPQ) and Clari.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition standards, such as ASC 606.
