Director, Solution and Product Marketing

You will be instrumental in articulating the value of our platform for coordinating AI agents, people, and systems. This position blends strategic GTM planning with hands-on content creation and team mentorship.

What you'll do

• Develop and own the core messaging and value propositions for key product and solution areas, translating technical capabilities into clear business outcomes for diverse audiences.
• Design and execute go-to-market strategies for product and solution launches, coordinating efforts across sales, marketing, and product teams.
• Create essential sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, competitive battle cards, and solution briefs, to empower field teams.
• Contribute to analyst relations efforts, ensuring industry analysts understand Camunda's market leadership and future direction.
• Guide and mentor a team of marketers, fostering a culture of high standards and collaboration.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B enterprise software marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior individual contributor or management role covering product marketing, solution marketing, or a combination of both.
• Demonstrated experience in understanding and marketing to global audiences, accounting for regional communication and buying behavior differences.
• Proven ability to craft compelling solutions that address complex business challenges, going beyond feature-based positioning.
• Strong aptitude for simplifying technical concepts into clear, credible narratives.
• Experience within technical domains such as automation, AI/ML, developer tools, integration platforms (iPaaS), or middleware.
• Successful track record of leading go-to-market execution and product launches in a remote-first setting.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with a history of partnering effectively with Product, Engineering, and Sales.
• Executive presence and strong communication abilities, comfortable engaging with C-level stakeholders, analysts, and internal leadership.
• Experience in managing or mentoring marketing professionals.
• Willingness and ability to actively use Camunda's product and work with AI tools.
• Understanding of enterprise software ecosystems, including GSI, RSI, cloud hyperscalers, and ISVs, and developing joint value propositions.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in process automation, orchestration, BPM, or the Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT) space.
• Experience marketing to both highly technical (developer) and senior business (LOB, C-suite) personas concurrently.
• Prior experience engaging with industry analysts like Gartner or Forrester.
• Experience in a high-growth, remote-first company focused on category creation.
