About the role
This position serves as a critical link between analytical findings and strategic business decisions. You will translate complex data into clear narratives that inform leadership and drive action across the company.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with analytics teams and business leaders to identify significant business trends and develop compelling stories around key discoveries.
- Consolidate insights from various analytics functions, such as Product, Reporting, Marketing, and Data Science, linking them to company objectives and customer behavior.
- Produce executive-level communications, including decision briefs, presentations, and strategic memos.
- Manage and distribute regular updates on business performance and key insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure that important findings are communicated effectively to all relevant audiences, from the board to individual teams.
- Create foundational materials to enhance the organization's understanding of core business drivers and strategic priorities.
- Establish best practices for analytics communication, insight packaging, and discoverability.
- Explore and integrate AI tools to improve communication efficiency while maintaining quality.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in roles focused on strategy, business operations, consulting, analytics enablement, product operations, or research synthesis, with a proven ability to translate complex information into actionable business decisions.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of simplifying intricate subjects and tailoring messages for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- Strong business understanding and a curious analytical mind, with the capacity to deeply engage with analytical results, pinpoint crucial insights, and connect them to company strategy, customer behavior, and business performance.
- Demonstrated experience in crafting executive-level narratives, recommendations, and decision-support materials derived from analytical, technical, or operational data.
- Experience working collaboratively with analytics, product, go-to-market, finance, operations, and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
- A high degree of ownership and comfort operating in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in management consulting, business strategy, chief of staff roles, business operations, or analytics leadership.
- Experience supporting executive leadership, strategic planning, board reviews, or company-wide business reviews.
- Familiarity with analytics processes, experimentation, key metrics, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
- A history of increasing the visibility, adoption, and business impact of analytical work across different departments.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and knowledge management, understanding their appropriate applications and quality control measures.

- This role may require occasional travel for company events, team collaboration, or offsites.
- Salary ranges: Tier 1: $173,027 - $203,561 USD; Tier 2: $158,608 - $186,597 USD; Tier 3: $144,189 - $169,634 USD.
- The specific salary within these ranges will depend on factors such as relevant experience, skills, interview performance, location, and internal pay equity.
- Total compensation includes base salary, equity awards, and competitive benefits.
- Geographic zones for pay determination are: Tier 1 (San Francisco, San Jose, New York City), Tier 2 (Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle, Miami, and all other cities in CA), and Tier 3 (all other locations).
