About the role
Join Calendly's Growth team to build and test new features that enhance user discovery, adoption, and payment for our product. You will work across the entire technology stack and collaborate closely with product and analytics teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. This role is fast-paced, iterative, and data-driven, requiring you to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability in an environment with evolving information.
Key facts
What you'll do
Design, develop, and deploy full-stack experiments to improve user acquisition, activation, engagement, and monetization.
Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and analysts to refine hypotheses and user flows.
Analyze experiment results to inform rapid iteration and decision-making.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of our experimentation platform and growth infrastructure.
Make informed engineering decisions to maximize impact.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a significant portion focused on user growth initiatives (acquisition, activation, retention) or monetization.
Proficiency in full-stack development, with the ability to independently design, build, and deploy production-ready changes across frontend and backend systems.
Proven experience managing product experiments from conception to completion.
A strong data-driven approach to problem-solving.
The ability to effectively balance development speed with product quality in a growth-focused environment.
Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces where success is defined by outcomes.
A collaborative working style, with a capacity to partner effectively with product, design, and analytics teams.
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States; Calendly does not provide visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
Experience in proposing and evaluating growth experiments, including defining their impact and measurement.
Ability to quickly analyze data to identify growth or monetization opportunities.
Demonstrated ownership that extends beyond implementation, encompassing hypothesis formulation and post-launch analysis.
Experience scaling growth systems or experimentation platforms in a production setting.

Salary ranges are as follows:
Tier 1 (San Francisco, San Jose, New York City): $224,400 - $271,920 USD
Tier 2 (Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle, Miami, and all other CA cities): $205,700 - $249,260 USD
Tier 3 (All other locations): $187,000 - $226,600 USD
These ranges are for annual base salary and are subject to change based on factors including experience, skills, interview performance, location, and internal pay equity.
Total compensation includes base salary, potential equity awards, and competitive benefits.
Employment is not available in Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and West Virginia.
Occasional travel may be required for company events, team collaboration, or offsites.
